The weekly residential fees for a room in a particular type of apartment, applicable for 2012 are quoted below. No utility costs are payable by residents so there are no unexpected utility bills during the year.
Accommodation is payable by direct debit either monthly, half yearly or annually from a nominated credit card (Visa or Mastercard - a surcharge of 1.7% applies to all credit card payments) or by direct debit from an Australian bank account.

Bond Fee*: $1,016.00
* A Bond fee of $1,016.00 is payable upon accepting the accommodation offer. The Bond is lodged with the Residential Tenancy Bond Authority, and is fully refundable at the end of the contract period, subject to payment by the resident of any outstanding extras, like phone charges, and an apartment inspection by the Facilities Manager of RMIT Village.
The residential fees include:
- Utilities (water, gas and electricity)
- Use of all facilities in the Village: gym, heated swimming pool, bbq, pool and table tennis, student lounge (equipped with Playstation, DVD player, Foxtel and surround sound) and the dedicated study areas.
